Next weekend is the bus trip, for $53 you get a spot on the bus, food, exclusive specials & make-n-takes at each store, There are some spots left so call now and get signed up! Fab Five Day 3

Dear Followers:
My update is a little later than I usually post it but I have some good reasons why; #1 Im in the middle of a nasty spring Wisconsin Storm, it started yesterday with rain, then some sleet and hail, and then some more rain, a thunderstorm over night and I woke up to this:

Can you see the road? probably not.

I planned to update my blog at school but they canceled (they never cancel) So I packed up my stuff, scraped all the ice off my car, and headed over to the in-laws (for internet) to post todays project, it didnt take me long to realize that it was a horrible idea, but I made it, after 45 minutes (I went 3 miles down the road)

My project today reminds me of warmer, sunnier days. To be exact, Broiler Fest (my hometown's carnival) Kickball Tournament, last year we won the championship. It was a warm sunny weekend, until the last day. It downpoured, but we had a ton of fun, and Im sure we looked something like a Changito Monkey running and slipping around in the mud, and jumping up and down when we won.

Welcome to day 2!! "You Drive Me Happy" and today, everybody is driving me happy, I woke up to  a bunch of text messages this morning wishing me a happy birthday from friends and family, so today is the perfect day to post this card.

Another month, another Fab Five Week, this time...Changito Monkeys!This is my card for Day 1, All the patterned paper used is My Minds Eye from the "So Sophie" Collection, Green Ribbon (available at Picture This) matched perfectly, and Copic Markers to color the monkeys. Howdy!

So here is my new obsession!! The Greeting Farm!! These "Cheeky" girls are SOOO cute!! The one I used in this card is "cheeky howdy" and they are now availabe at Picture This! My plan was to upload all the samples I made this past night but.....I was showing them off at the store, and how excited I was to put them out as samples and was asked a couple times if they were for a class....thank you Joyce for convincing me :) so I cant post all of them but your more than welcome to come in the store and check them out, and check back soon to the Picture This website and check out the class list for details and a picture, Im still working out a date. yay!! I cant contain my excitement :)

Candle Holder

Lisa and I have recently invested in the Elizabeth Craft Design Product, (glitters, transfer sheets,and adhesive paper) We have been holding monthly classes at Picture This teaching the many techniques using this product, this weekend we put a few cards together for our next class March 24th. Ill post a picture of them once we finish the last one, it needs some tweeking. Yesterday a new stamp company to Picture This came in, and I was SOOO excited!! I was stamping and coloring all night long :)(Ill share the name of the company along with my creations tomorrow, so trust me you will want to stop back, these stamps are ADORABLE!) between breaks of coloring with the Copics I got out our glitter and started playing, and made this candle holder. I really wanted to make a champagne glass, I had envisioned something someone could use at a wedding with heart stickers and red and white glitter, but Walmart apparently doesnt sell champagne or wine glasses seperately...darn! Hope you enjoy and check back soon for some new ideas and product and our class updated with a picture :)

Fab Five Day 4

Here is my day four House Mouse Card, It is hard to tell in the picture but the green paper in the background is embossed with cuttlebug embossing folder swiss dots. I had a little trouble with this one, I got carried away coloring the ice cream to look like my favorite (mint chocolate chip) with brown stickles as the chocolate chips that I ended up later finding paper to match, my point is still: Copics are great and you can think outside the box when coloring stamps like these.

Daddys Girl

I absolutey loved making this page, I was just flipping through my box of pictures and found these two and it was a perfect match, Ive been wanting to use this paper since it came in but just didnt have the perfect pictures to go with it. I love making pages that compare old and new such as this one, I also found it quite interesting on the back of the older picture where Im a little girl with my dad the date was written "October 3, 1993" and the date of the newer picture (our father daughter dance) was October 2, 2010. Exactly 17 years and 1 day apart, how perfect.

Here is a page I made over the weekend, it brought back some good memories
from High School specifically Volleyball Season. The pictures are from Freshman year and Senior Year, its crazy to see how our team has grown and changed in these four years.

It was hard to get a good picture of this page since the colors are so light. This is another page done with My Minds Eye "Lost and Found" paper such as in my last post. Similar to the last post, I used all MY Minds Eye product (paper, letter stickers, and diecut) This page is of Dominic, our Ring Bearer, he was adorable the day of the wedding just like Kaya was, we were greatful to have both of them apart of the wedding. My favortite memory about Dominic this day was him running around telling everybody "Im not your buddy! Im a ring bearer" we could tell he had a fun time being apart of our special day.
