Fab Five Day 1

Here is day one of Fab Five, I wanted to start with a simple feminine card, this could be easily mass-produced as a thank you card for a bridal shower, girls birthday, ect. I wanted to show that the Judith "stubby" stamps arent only used with the "tree for all seasons" stamp. This card has a simple "thanks" in the corner, My Minds Eye paper and Liquid Pearls dotted along on the paper to accent the swirls in the pattern.

Fab Five Day 4 "Best Fishes!"

Id have to say that I think this card turned out super cute for how simple it was, The Spellbinders I used were from the new "Foliage" Spellbinders. I cut them out in two different shades of green cardstock, I inked & stickled the larger one and cut a slice in the paper to tuck the bottom of the diecut behind. The fish sticker was from a Reminisce 12x12 sticker sheet, I placed it on paper, cut it out, and then put pop dots behind the fish to make him pop out from the coral in the background. Then I stamped Amuse stamp "best fishes!" in the bottom corner. Hope You Enjoy!

Fab 5 Day 3

Here is a super easy Fathers Day card made with Spellbinders Nestibilities Standard Circles Large. I folded a white piece of paper in half and when I ran it through the cuttlebug I didnt push the plates all the way through so it didnt cut through the paper all the way at the fold. Then I embossed the card with cuttlebug embossing folder the opposite way to give the white circle those golf ball like "dimples." Finished off with some ribbon and a those cute little Changito Monkeys we used for Fab Five last month. I wrote "fore you" on the front with a pen but the store does have "fore you" & other golf related stamps that are perfect for that golf loving dad.

Fab Five Day 3

Dear Followers:
My update is a little later than I usually post it but I have some good reasons why; #1 Im in the middle of a nasty spring Wisconsin Storm, it started yesterday with rain, then some sleet and hail, and then some more rain, a thunderstorm over night and I woke up to this:

Can you see the road? probably not.

I planned to update my blog at school but they canceled (they never cancel) So I packed up my stuff, scraped all the ice off my car, and headed over to the in-laws (for internet) to post todays project, it didnt take me long to realize that it was a horrible idea, but I made it, after 45 minutes (I went 3 miles down the road)

My project today reminds me of warmer, sunnier days. To be exact, Broiler Fest (my hometown's carnival) Kickball Tournament, last year we won the championship. It was a warm sunny weekend, until the last day. It downpoured, but we had a ton of fun, and Im sure we looked something like a Changito Monkey running and slipping around in the mud, and jumping up and down when we won.

Supplies Used:

Changito Monkey Stampendous Stamps
My Minds Eye Paper
Copic Markers
Memento Ink
Hero Arts Jewels

Candle Holder

Lisa and I have recently invested in the Elizabeth Craft Design Product, (glitters, transfer sheets, and adhesive paper) We have been holding monthly classes at Picture This teaching the many techniques using this product, this weekend we put a few cards together for our next class March 24th. Ill post a picture of them once we finish the last one, it needs some tweeking. Yesterday a new stamp company to Picture This came in, and I was SOOO excited!! I was stamping and coloring all night long :)(Ill share the name of the company along with my creations tomorrow, so trust me you will want to stop back, these stamps are ADORABLE!) between breaks of coloring with the Copics I got out our glitter and started playing, and made this candle holder. I really wanted to make a champagne glass, I had envisioned something someone could use at a wedding with heart stickers and red and white glitter, but Walmart apparently doesnt sell champagne or wine glasses seperately...darn! Hope you enjoy and check back soon for some new ideas and product and our class updated with a picture :)

Fab Five Day 4

Here is my day four House Mouse Card, It is hard to tell in the picture but the green paper in the background is embossed with cuttlebug embossing folder swiss dots. I had a little trouble with this one, I got carried away coloring the ice cream to look like my favorite (mint chocolate chip) with brown stickles as the chocolate chips that I ended up later finding paper to match, my point is still: Copics are great and you can think outside the box when coloring stamps like these.
