Fab Five June 2012

Sorry this took so long! Ive been having computer problems all morning! Here is Fab Five for June! Using the McRice Medley Sheets, these are pretty awesome, it has a bunch of squares with images they have personally taken with their camera, many from around the area, WI, MN, & MI. The card Im posting today is a Halloween card (a little early I know, but I figured no one else would use the crow) Enjoy!

Here is Fab Five for April. using Tim Holtz Rosette die. I love this die there are so many fun ways to use it and it comes in three sizes, the one i used here is his biggest size. The paper I used for thsi cupcake topper is by American Crafts, Neapolitan Collection, "At First Sight" Its a cute flower pattern I thought was lovely for Spring or a Bridal Shower. The stamp on the Topper is Judith Stubby Stamp "Thanks" and a bow to complete!! Enjoy :)

Fab Five March!

Were back on for another Fab Five, I couldnt be more excited...for more resons than just one, Its March (my favorite month) they month of Springtime, St. Patricks Day, and my birthday!! Spring mean Summer, not to get a head of myself!! We got a lovely pile of wet messy snow and freezing rain last night/this morning so this card surely put me in a better mood pretending I was on the beach somewhere.

Fab Five this month is featuring McRice Medley Paper, most of the pictures on their scrapbooking paper is taking around the area (WI, MN, and MI) we love to support them! this card was made with their medley paper (perfect for cardmaking) Moxie patterned Paper, and My Favorite Things Sun die and stamp, enjoy!

'Tis the Season!

Unfortunately its been raining the past few days and all the snow is gone, Im begining to think that its not going to be a "White Christmas" after all. Here is a wreath I made using Tim Holtz "Tattered Pinecone" die :) add white paint and glitter to look like real snow! :) enjoy!

Fab Five Day 1

Here is day one of Fab Five, I wanted to start with a simple feminine card, this could be easily mass-produced as a thank you card for a bridal shower, girls birthday, ect. I wanted to show that the Judith "stubby" stamps arent only used with the "tree for all seasons" stamp. This card has a simple "thanks" in the corner, My Minds Eye paper and Liquid Pearls dotted along on the paper to accent the swirls in the pattern.

Im running a little late today! but heres day five, Tim Holtz :)  This neckalace was made with his chain, mini glass bottles, and charm. Sorry the picture quality isnt the best, but in the store to see it in person! happy Friday!!

Its Day FOUR!! todays creation was made my Lisa at Picture This, with "My Favorite Things" stamp set "Twisted Threesome" I love these stamp sets and all the silly, but oh so true sayings in them. Check back tomorrow for Day 5 and look back at a weeks worth of inspiration :)

Fab 5 Day 2

Sorry it is a little delayed today. I tried uploading it this morning and it wouldn't work :(

This is a simple, fun card using the poinsetta Spellbinders with the edges lined in gold leafing and dipped in glitter. I also used the leafing pen on the outside of the card and and elegant gold ribbon wrapped around it.

Fab Five Day 1

Welcome to another week of "Fab Five" Its nice to be back in the loop after taking the summer off. What else could go better with pretty fall leaves, sweaters, boots, and pumpkins besides some Wisconsin Football! lol

After a great weekend of Wisconsin sports i decided it was only necessary to post this Badgers Card!

Ahhh, as you can see Ive neglected the blog this summer, but good news! Fab Five Week starts up again October 3rd-7th, quote of the week: "Im not feeling very creative today" I Promise that will change soon :)

"Wine a little, you'll feel better"

I found inspiration from a popular stamp set we have in the store,"Twisted Threesome" by My Favorite Things, I decorated this wine box with My Minds Eye paper from the "Lime Twist" Collection. The bow on top and tag were both made out of coordinating MME paper as well.

"Happiness is freedom, flowers, and a little sunshine!"

This was a simple page I made using a new paper line we got in at the store called "Simple Stories." Summer as been super busy as you can see!

Cheeky Beach Girl

 Im uploading my blog before I get in any more trouble at work for slacking, things are quite crazy in the summer!! If you didnt know, Im absolutely obsessed with Greeting Farm stamps and the girls at work all knew I was patiently waiting for the arrival of "Cheeky Beach" These girls are sooo cute! As soon as the shipment came in Paula stuck one on my shelf and as soon as I saw it I took it home and started coloring.

Here is the purse I made for my last class a couple of weeks ago using Spellbinders Grand Calibur and Grand dies. The ladies in class had a ton of fun and some were especially excited to fill it with goodies and give as a present.

Love is for the birds

Here is a cute simple card I made showing some new product we got in the store. (paper, twine, and bird brads) The stamp is by Amuse, We have put a little twist on it using spellbinders tag and an extra layer under the patterned paper to make it "Make and Take ready" for next Thursday stop in 11-1pm at Picture This!!

Fab Five Day 5

Well here it is, Day Five! Now you will have 25 plus ideas using Spellbinders!! These two cards are created using Nested Hearts and Labels Four. I went with a "Twilight" theme, I love the books and movies and Im anxiously awaiting the next movie release. The stamps are all from Amuse and colored in with Copic Markers.  Have a Great Weekend everyone!

Fab Five Day 4 "Best Fishes!"

Id have to say that I think this card turned out super cute for how simple it was, The Spellbinders I used were from the new "Foliage" Spellbinders. I cut them out in two different shades of green cardstock, I inked & stickled the larger one and cut a slice in the paper to tuck the bottom of the diecut behind. The fish sticker was from a Reminisce 12x12 sticker sheet, I placed it on paper, cut it out, and then put pop dots behind the fish to make him pop out from the coral in the background. Then I stamped Amuse stamp "best fishes!" in the bottom corner. Hope You Enjoy!
